Food & Nutrition
Tick Tock Early Learning Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are included in the cost of care. We are very aware of the obesity epidemic and we are committed to placing an importance on good nutrition and physical activity at our Center, as each play a vital role in the early stages of child development. Our goal is to not only give the children of Tick Tock nutritious meals and snacks every day, but to teach them how to make healthy decisions on their own. We serve a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, and grains throughout each week, giving children the opportunity to discover foods they may not have access to at home. Our hope is that by discovering a wide variety of healthy, nutritious foods at such a young age, they will be better prepared in the future to make smart food choices. Tick Tock regularly distributes information on healthy eating, nutrition, and exercise to parents throughout the year.
